About International Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (IFCC)  

The International Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (IFCC) is a global professional association that promotes the fields of clinical chemistry and laboratory medicine. It was established in Paris in 1952 as the International Association of Clinical Biochemists to organize the various national societies of these fields and is based in Milan, Italy. Its aims are to set global standards, support and educate its members, and provide conferences and other gatherings for sharing knowledge among the global laboratory medicine community. IFCC members fall into three groups: national societies of clinical chemistry and laboratory medicine, corporations, and affiliate international or national societies involved in laboratory medicine. As of 2023, these members represented more than 45,000 individual clinical chemists, laboratory scientists, and laboratory physicians.

Dedication to Accuracy

Zybio embarked on a journey with efforts devoted to medical laboratory reference measurement procedures, such as RELA, EQARL. Our commitment extends to ongoing engagement in RELA (International Laboratory Proficiency Testing), EQARL (National Medical Reference Measurement Capability Verification Program), and inter-laboratory proficiency comparison initiatives for medical laboratory standards. In this way, we ensure the continual efficacy of reference measurement capabilities and subsequent calibrators in processing and product, so as to ensure the test accuracy of clinical samples.

In the past 3 years, Zybio has 12 items approved by CNAS by 2023 compared with 2 items back in 2021. 7 items of enzymology have been approved into the JCTLM database for reference measurement service for customers worldwide. We have submitted multiple items for assessment and all items have been verified and approved, including 11 items for assessment by EQARL 2023 (External Quality Assessment of the Reference Lab), 20 items by RELA 2023 and 5 items by inter-laboratory comparison, covering enzymology, blood cells, small metabolites, hormones, etc.

Since Zybio embarks international exploration, we, with brand globalization in mind, develop our products based on international quality standard. We gradually launched products to international markets, including Clinical Chemistry, CLIA, POCT, Hematology, Urinalysis, Molecular, Microbiology, Coagulation, etc. Our products have been distributed to over 20,000 healthcare facilities from over 100 countries worldwide. We are also committed to international exchanges in global exhibitions such as AACC in the US, MEDICA in Germany, MEDLAB in Dubai, etc.

An SCI paper published by the Medical University of Graz in Austria in Journal of Clinical Microbiology (IF=9.4) compares Zybio’s MALDI-TOF MS system with two renowned international first-line brand mass spectrometers. The findings suggest that Zybio's mass spectrometry system manifests similar performance with the international top brands, and even outperforms them in the detection of fungi and bacteria easily misidentified. This achievement has garnered recognition for domestically produced mass spectrometers. Furthermore, over 150 urinalysis systems have been deployed in medical institutions in Poland and Turkey, including the world's seventh-largest hospital, Turkey's premier PPP hospital, Turkey's largest private chain medical group, etc. With a commitment to providing accurate, comprehensive, and accessible solutions for laboratory testing, we make strides onto the global platform.
